Homemade Muesli with fruit and yoghurt. Naturally, healthy and emulsifier free muesli is a rare thing on the market. You can read on the box what is inside, but you don't know anything about the quality of the used ingredients. Knowing all that, the best possible muesli is homemade, of course, and is very easy to make. Also you can combine whatever you want and make it by your own taste. Check out our recommendation!
- 300 grams of rolled oats,
- 125 ml of apple juice,
- 2 tablespoons of oil,
- 125 grams of sunflower seeds,
- 80 grams of raw almonds,
- 60 grams of dried cranberries,
- 60 grams of dried blueberries,
- 40 grams of pumpkin seeds,
- 40 grams of sesame seeds,
- 30 grams of flaked coconuts,
- 4 tablespoons of greek yoghurt,
- 1 cup of raspberries,
- couple of peaches.
Instead of these ingredients you can put something else or just add some more to this list, for example hazelnuts, or pecan nuts, or nuts, or other dried fruits...
How to cook it?
This may be the most beautiful thing in the world: waking up your family and serving them a wonderful, fresh and healty breakfast which they are going to love. First of all, turn the oven on and set it up to reach 160°C. After that, start working. Place all the seeds, oats, and coconuts and pour juice and oil over it,stir well to wet all the ingredients and put the dish to the oven for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until it becomes slightly brown in colour (keep an eye on it- don't let it burn!). When it's done, remove it from the oven and let it cool down. During that time make a raspberry yoghurt. Just squash the berries and whisk them with yoghurt. Wake up the family and get back to serve meals. The seeds are now cooled down, so you can add the blueberries and cranberries, and you are done.
